#U18077 Illinois Simulation Lab: South Clinic Renovations
The project consolidates primary care patient services in the building historically identified as the Illinois Simulation Laboratory. The facility will be repurposed to support a busy primary care veterinary practice. These services are currently delivered in the Veterinary Teach hospital. Relocation of the service to a free-standing setting will allow the College to develop a primary care practice that replicates the private practice environment in which a large percentage of new Illinois veterinarians will work after graduation. New spaces include: public waiting and reception, exam rooms, species specific animal wards, treatment areas including dental, an operating room and instrument sterilization space.
